Hexprog supports reading and writing EEPROMs directly by using the EEPROM Adapter , EEPROM Adapter is included in the Hexprog package.
BMW Instrument Clusters (KOMBI)
Instrument cluster (widely known as kombi) in BMW modern cars records the data like VIN and mileage in its EEPROM. It is important that a tool which support reading cluster EEPROM and edit the info like vin and mileage in EEPROM as these values cannot be changed in coding or programming on car.
Hexprog can edit the cluster EEPROM on bench and lower mileage to desired number. We presently support common EEPROMs like 160D0WQ, 080D0WQ, M35080 etc.…

Editing can be done with any Hex edit software but in Hexprog it supports general reading and writing.
